Work

Patterns, not borrowed logos

We do not publish client names we do not have permission to use. These are the shapes of work we take — sector, situation, and what changed.

Regional bank

Reporting that no longer waits for the nightly batch

Finance and risk took numbers from a batch that finished after the morning meeting. Three teams kept their own extracts. An audit asked which one was real.

  1. 01Named the dozen metrics that actually changed a decision
  2. 02Landed them in a warehouse with owners and tests
  3. 03Left the core batch alone and replaced the extracts, not the core

The morning pack is a query, not a chase. The old extracts have a retirement date.

Manufacturer

Plant data that planning can see the same day

A multi-site manufacturer planned from yesterday’s spreadsheet. Gateways failed quietly. ERP and the plants disagreed about what was finished.

  1. 01A repeatable edge pattern and an alert when a site goes dark
  2. 02One governed feed into planning
  3. 03ERP integration only for the events planners use

Planners stop reconciling by phone. A dead gateway is an operations ticket, not a surprise at month end.

Retailer

A commerce stack that has already met its peak

A retailer rebuilt the storefront and left inventory, tax, and payment as “phase two”. The campaign date did not move.

  1. 01Cut scope to catalog, checkout, and a truthful stock figure
  2. 02Load-tested the path with the campaign traffic shape
  3. 03Put orders into the warehouse system before adding loyalty

The campaign ran on the new stack. Loyalty waited. Orders matched the warehouse.

Growing company

Identity fixed before another security tool

A company past two hundred people had standing global admin, shared mailboxes as owners, and a new security product every quarter.

  1. 01Removed standing privilege and put phishing-resistant sign-in on admin
  2. 02Joined joiner-mover-leaver to the real HR list
  3. 03Paused new tools until the identity backlog was short

The next audit conversation started from access, not from a logo slide.
